Since the beginning of the school year, Penn-Trafford High School special education students have been splitting their time between the coffee shop and a new, exciting opportunity: a school store.

The students work together during first through fourth periods in P-T’s coffee shop. Later in the day, during fifth through eighth periods, students work on designing and creating their own merch to be sold on the online school store.

“I hope one day to be able to have a tangible store, along with Mrs. Tara Enick and Ms. Miranda Frye, but I don’t know if we’ll have the space,” stated new coffee shop teacher, Kristina Matthews.

Any money saved from the store directly benefits P-T as a whole. Any additional funds will be used towards gaining essential supplies for the store or the coffee shop.

After ordering from the store’s website, any students who order should be waiting a few business days before receiving whatever item or items they order.
