Diverse opinions arise about Thanksgiving foods

As Thanksgiving approaches, The Warrior surveyed Penn-Trafford High School and asked students and teachers: “What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?”

“The bread rolls,” sophomores Gabriella Geary and Riley McIntosh stated. The bread rolls seemed to be a popular choice for students.

Another popular food item for students was mashed potatoes. Sophomore Maliyiah Graves and senior Hanna Weishaar stated that it was their favorite.

Senior James Lindsay said that he liked macaroni and cheese the most, which seems to be a new popular food for many family dinners

While there were many popular foods that many students enjoyed, there were also some uncommon top choices.

“Pasta is my favorite Thanksgiving dish,” senior Anthony Stagno said. Pasta is usually considered an uncommon dish, but is clearly still eaten on this day by some people.

One dish that is commonly made, but not commonly eaten, is green bean casserole. Sophomore Isabella Rager says she really enjoys this meal.

Whether it is mashed potatoes, green bean casserole or even pasta, students are all in agreement that Thanksgiving food is something special.
