Saint Paddy’s Day offers great entertainment

On March 17, it is Saint Patrick’s day. To get into the spirit of the holiday, here are several episodes of famous shows focused around the Irish Holiday itself.

In “The Office,” “Saint Paddy’s Day” is a season 6 episode in which Michael tries to get the whole office home on time instead of staying late due to their new boss Joe’s wishes for them to stay. This episode also introduces a classic joke of the series, Mega Desk.

During “Family Guy” season 5 episode “Peter’s Two Dads,” Peter Griffin discovers his birth-father and sets out to find him in Ireland. This episode, while being quite humorous, does show the importance of family along with the song “My Drunken Irish Dad.”

On “Futurama,” “The Luck of the Fryrish” is a Season 3 episode centered around the luck of the Irish. Fry looks for his lucky seven-leaf clover all over town as it had disappeared since he hid it in the past. This episode also gives some development to Fry’s character in general and was a real pleasure to watch.

In the popular show “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” viewers can often find some Irish cheer at Paddy’s Irish Pub. In the season 11 episode “Charlie Catches a Leprechaun,” Charlie and Mac find themselves at ends with trying to catch a small green thief, which they think is a leprechaun. It also hosts a small parody scene from “Reservoir Dogs” which was a nice reference.

During Saint Patrick’s Day, the Warrior staff wishes you all the luck and hope that you will enjoy these shows.
