Q:Why did you want to become an English?
Teacher?
A:I actually tried to avoid becoming an English teacher or a teacher in general, I ended up working in marketing management. Then I went back for education, because thought the unpredictability of it all would make it interesting to come to work, because even though you’re doing the same units or reading the same stories, you still have the ability to change it.That you get to hang out with teenagers and see the world from their point of view.
Q:What is your favorite unit to teach?
A: My favorite unit to teach are short stories, mostly because it holds the attention span of the students. It really lets you focus on certain aspects of a story, and I like the note taking part of it, because as you go and you break that story down, you can really get so much more meaning out of it at a quicker rate than you do with a novel.

Q: What is something you wish students knew about you?
A:I work two jobs, I’m a teacher, and then I also work, because I am kind of behind the scenes and shipping on the weekends. Um, where I send out orders for a small company.
Q:And then how long have you been an English teacher?
A: I’ve been an English teacher for five years.
